The Thornton Branch Library Book Club meets monthly and is open to everyone. It is called the Book and Brew Club (brew as in coffee). The group meets at the library on the second Tuesday of the month at the Thornton library, 8992 Washington Street, to discuss the current book selection and enjoy a delicious cup of coffee. Book News:
Thornton Branch Library Opens Doors to Curious Minds

For the past ten years since the Thornton Branch Library has been located at 8992 Washington Street, library customers have had to use the back entrance of the building to access the library. On Monday, February 23, the original front entrance to the building will be re-opened to the public. Library customers will be greeted by staff and welcomed through the beautiful new entrance and lobby. The first 25 customers will receive carnations, and complimentary coffee and cookies will be served.
