Book Club Members - Welcome to March
Hello fellow readers! It’s March!
While this month can bring lots of snow, we will soon see signs of spring! Does a change of season inspire you to read different books? Maybe, lighter reads or happier tomes? Or do you stick with the tried-and-true? Let us know what you’re reading to give suggestions to our other readers!
Here’s what your fellow club members are reading:
Erika B. is reading The Winter of Our Disconnect by Susan Maushart. “The book’s subtitle says it all,” says Erika. “It’s a true story about ‘How Three Totally Wired Teenagers (and a Mother Who Slept with Her iPhone) Pulled the Plug on Their Technology and Lived to Tell the Tale.” Erika says she hopes the book inspires her to curtail some of the electronic dependence in her household.
Gina L. is reading Swamplandia! by Karen Russell, “a tale of Florida gator-wrestlers.”
Lisa W. is reading The Passage by Justin Cronin. “It’s a Vampire-apocalypse page-turner,” she says. “But so far, it’s nothing new. I do have about 200 pages to go, so things could take a turn for the better.”
