Happy November, Club Members!
Welcome to November! This year is flying by! Are you finding time to read? Let us know what you're reading this month, and be sure to tell us what's on your reading wish-list for the holidays!
Here’s what your fellow club members are reading:
Sharon W. is reading Slash and Bones by Kathy Reichs.
Lisa W. just ordered The Boy in the Suitcase by Lene Kaaberbol, Agnete Friis, and 11/22/63 by Stephen King. "They're both mysteries, and early reviews are positive for both, so I hope they'll keep me entertained now that I'm inside a lot more because of the cold weather!" Both books will be released on November 8.
Sheri E. says she read a most interesting book called Left Neglected by Lisa Genova. “It is about a busy, career wife and mother who gets in a terrible car accident and suffers a brain injury that erases the entire left side of her world. The book is fiction, but is based on a real neurological condition called Left Neglect, a subject about which I knew nothing. This brain injury forces her, over time and with therapy, to learn to “find” her left side. It is not necessarily a sad book; it is written with humor and love and understanding from her family. I would recommend this book.”
Please note: All Anythink locations will be closed on November 11 in observance of Veterans Day, and November 24-25 in observance of Thanksgiving.
